Animals have always been my main source of inspiration in my illustrations and doodles. I used to hate drawing people, it always frustrated me that I found it so hard to draw people accurately. So, a just over a year ago I practised and practised and now I feel I can actually fairly successfully draw a person without needing to refer to a photo.
Contrary to the preferences of most people I’ve talked to, I actually love drawing the hair the most because I find I can have a lot of fun with the form and movement and I especially love drawing hair as though it were windswept! Just me?
